After the Battle over Little Whinging, 13 people (Mr. and Mrs. Weasley, Bill, Fleur, Fred, George, Ron, Ginny, Harry, Hermione, Lupin, Tonks and Hagrid) gathered in The Burrow to mourn the death of Alastor Moody. Afterwards, Lupin stood up and offered to look for Moody’s dead body. Later in the Battle of Hogwarts, Lupin was killed by Antonin Dolohov thus making another of Trelawney’s predictions came true: that when thirteen dine together, the first to rise will be the first to die.

I’m going to be as busy as a motha fucka. Mondays & Fridays I have my internship in the city from 10AM until 630PM. Then I crammed 20 credits into the three days in between. AND ON THE WEEKENDS (in addition to homework) I’m taking on a part time job with an up-and-coming website called FilmFolk. BAH-HUMBUG. I’m going to be swamped…and probably consequently a bitch. >:[
I LOVE NOT DOING ANYTHING SOOO MUCH! If I could…I would spend the rest of my life snuggling with Dallas. Just eating, snuggling, watching movies and sleeping. That’s it. All I’ve accomplished this break is (legit) unlocking mirror mode on Mario Kart Wii.
OH. And although I love not doing anything…Dallas and I are working on getting paid summer internships in California for the summer. Because:
A. I’ve never been
B. California Girls are unforgettable…daisy dukes bikinis on top????
C. Possibilities so far are Disney Studios and Sony Pictures- both of which I could see myself working for after graduation
D. LIVING SOMEWHERE NEW? CHEACHYEA
SO APPARENTLY! I have to hand in my graduation application this semester. THEY BETTER FUCKING ACCEPT IT. They will. They can’t deny it. I have 75 goddamn completed credits. SERK MA DERK.
annddd I updated my wardrobe to include professional not-looking-like-a-15-year-old clothes. Which I’m pretty excited about…although I feel like I’m a baby dressing up in mommy’s clothes….whatevs.

The Future
I’m really into advising right now so I thought I’d let the “world” know what’s up my sleeve for the rest of my Purchase College career.
Instead of transferring to a better school, I decided to put my hatred for Purchase on hold and graduate a year early so that I can get a Bachelors Degree for the least amount of money (and least amount of time) possible. To do this, I have already completed a few major steps towards my goal.
1. I entered New Media the spring of my Freshman year…but because of my standing as an Presidential Scholar and my very persuasive writing skills with regards to the Deans of the Liberal Arts schools, I was able to fit 8 (or is it 9?) of the required classes into the past two semesters.
2. This semester I was APPARENTLY the first student to ever attempt to apply for Advanced Standing early. This made the advisory committee very skeptical of me and my work, and they said some pretty harsh things (“amateur” >:[ ) BUT….
3. I was granted Advanced Standing with a “strong recommendation” not to continue in my plans to graduate early. I understand why they recommend me to stay at Purchase longer, but honestly staying here any longer than I plan to would probably cause me to lose my mind a little more than I already have.
One hour ago (ish) I finished registering for next semester. As of now, I have three days of classes. HOWEVER!!! **best thing of my life** i only have one class on Tuesdays and its 60% online. THIS MEANS: I will have class only 2 days a week 60% of the time. Next semesters schedule:
Mondays:OFF
Tuesdays: 10:30AM-1:30PM Cross Cultural Video Production (western civ gen ed)
Wednesdays:8:30-12:10 Junior Seminar in New Media (required)
(THIS IS WHERE IT GETS FUNKY, ILL EXPLAIN)
Thursdays:10:30-12:10 Intro to Studio Recording (elective)
2:30-6:20 History of Graphic Design Survey (history/theory requirement)
6:30-9:00 Outdoor Skills (phys ed gen ed)
The funky part is Wednesday Evening. Either I will take Anatomy of an Indie and The Screenplay OORRRR! I will take experimental workshop. If given an IAC for experimental workshop come this Friday (I have a meeting with the professor) I will definitely take that opportunity. However, I’ll get to have my first (and probably only) college course with Dallas if I take Anatomy of an Indie. ::sigh:: Decisions.
Basically, I WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE. NOW.

Summer
I like summer. I missed summer. I love the pool. I love having no responcibilities. I love seeing my buddies. I love being able to do whatever I want. I love hanging out with my family after not seeing them for a year. I love summer food. I love having the time to get new hobbies. I love being able to stay up late. I love sleeping in. I love the anticipation of a vacation or an event. I love snuggling all day with Dallas and feeling no obligation to being anywhere else with anyone else. I love not being able to put into words all the things I love because I’m too happy to sort out my thoughts. I hope to one day have the ability to spend the rest of my days like this; no worries, no obligations, just love. :]
